FIIF Event with AISA Project: AI for Situational Awareness (Nov 21, Tampere and online)
FIIF EVENT WITH AISA PROJECT: AI FOR SITUATIONAL AWARENESS (NOVEMBER 21, 10 – 13.00, TAMPERE, (Nokia Arena, Paidia) AND ONLINE)
Artificial Intelligence and high-speed wireless communications are key technologies in the ongoing Industrial Revolution. In this FIIF event we will hear key results from the three year, Business Finland funded AISA project, which will complete its operations at the end of December 2024. Additionally, we will discuss exciting new co-research opportunities within Nokia’s Veturi program, LEAD, and the DIMECC-driven Metaverse Finland (MEFI) ecosystem.
The utilization of situational awareness created by artificial intelligence, versatile sensing and industrial metaverse technologies has been central in AISA research. Of the sensor technologies the focus has been especially on the processing of video, image and audio data streams using modern machine learning methods. The response time requirements of industrial applications have received special attention and leveraging new edge computing and 5G solutions.
The AISA project partners include Nokia Technologies, Valmet Automation, Mirka, Insta, Top Data Science, Verne Global and the University of Tampere. Link to AISA project web page.
