Cloud-Native Development for IoT, (April 29th, 2021, Online)

“Cloud-Native Development for IoT” (April 29, 2021 at 9:00 – 12:30)

Cloud native is an approach to software development in which you build, run, and operate an application in the cloud. Instead of hosting your application on local servers and devices, it essentially lives on the internet. Simply deploying an application in the cloud doesn’t make it cloud native. Cloud native applications are built from the ground up to leverage the strengths of cloud computing, like on-demand availability, continuous delivery, and scalability.

Cloud nativity is a core component of most modern software development, and it is widely used in IoT applications. In this FIIF event we take a look at principles and components used when designing applications for cloud-nativity.
