FIIF Event: Model Based Systems Engineering (September 10th, Tampere)
FIIF Event: Model Based Systems Engineering. September 10th, 9.30-12.30, Tampere (Crazy Town, Pakkahuoneenaukio 2A) and online
Industrial products and production systems are becoming increasingly complex. Software, automation, connectivity, AI and digital services are often tightly integrated with mechanics and electronics. At the same time, companies are expected to shorten development cycles, improve quality, and manage growing system complexity more efficiently.
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model-Based Design (MBD) offer powerful approaches for addressing these challenges. By utilizing digital models throughout the product lifecycle, companies can improve collaboration between engineering disciplines, enable earlier validation and simulation, enhance traceability, and accelerate the development of smart connected products and systems.
In this FIIF seminar we will explore how model-based engineering methods are being utilized in industry today and how they are evolving towards digital engineering, digital twins and AI-assisted system development.
